TRIPPLE THREAT

I wonder if I've been changed in the night? Let me think. Was I the same when I got up this morning? I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is 'Who in the world am I?' Ah, that's the great puzzle!

The Great Experiment of 2009

I have a friend, lets call him Alex. I chose the name Alex because actually that is his real name. He suffers from a rare disorder that only a few in the world are believed to have. Actually he’s the only one documented to have this problem. Well, I don’t know if that’s true either.  I don’t know if anyone else secretly suffers with this problem or not.

I digress, symptoms of this disorder includes a very measurable progression that is seen through friends oddly enough. It starts with friends laughing at you the first time it happens. Then, after it happens a few times it turns into slight chuckles and smiles. Soon after this, it really starts to be sad and you feel bad for laughing at him earlier.

The name of this disorder is molly-mall sesonoractivatous. This disorder is hard to trace and the origins from where it came is believed to be around the 1960. It has mutated into its current form only in the past few years. This disorder causes mall detectors to sound alarms for no reason when walking through them. Alex believes he has been suffering with this for a few years. It’s not contagious he told us but it is slightly annoying.

My first thought was that he had been compromised. His mom works for the CIA and logically it makes sense. But why would he set off mall detectors? What is the connection? Why does the Sears and Gap detectors go off and not Target? We had so many questions and so few answers. This is when the great experiment of 2009 began. Oddly enough we are calling it the Great Experiment of 2009.

(Pretend a guy from the 1930’s with a really goofy voice reads the next part.)  What is this disorder? Where did it come from? Mall detectors!?! How much longer does Alex have to live? Tune in tomorrow tumblr folks to find out what happens next.
